$45 can provide one year of literacy training for one person

In Togo, West Africa, ILAD has been conducting a program to build a strong literacy foundation among adults in their vernacular, enabling community members to learn to read and write in their own language.

Literacy has innumerable benefits such as increased opportunity for economic gain, information acquisition, self-respect and dignity, and freedom from exploitation and oppression. Please consider giving women the gift of literacy.
