ILAD is currently involved in research among an under-resourced language community residing in Northwest Africa. This community of people is largely surrounded by the Sahara Dessert and has few infrastructure or development initiatives. Our ILAD team will begin by studying and researching the local language and identifying partners with whom we can potentially begin business and development projects.  Our goal is to see this group become engaged in the larger world without losing their unique identity of language and culture. ILAD teams will help strengthen the voice of this minority group.
