Limited Access to Global Information
Mariam is very concerned about her son, Dastan, because he is not developing as expected and is often sick. Accessing information is difficult for minority language speakers living around the world.
Language, culture, distrust, and exploitation are a few of the obstacles that isolate communities from accurate health and wellness information. ILAD addresses these issues by living in communities, gaining the trust of local people, and teaching life skills classes such as fertility, infant care, and nutrition.
