Limited Access to Education
Steven is 7 years old and desperately wants to go to school. His parents know that education is important, but they are subsistence farmers and do not have enough money to pay for school fees and uniforms.
ILAD knows that children who attend elementary school are far more likely to succeed than those who do not. We are proud to partner with communities in rural villages to provide necessary school supplies to students so that they can not only attend, but have the essential tools to learn the skills that will serve them for a lifetime. Global Citizen reported that “increasing access to education can improve the overall health and longevity of a society, grow economies, and even combat climate change.”
