Food Insecurity

Alex can barely grow enough food on his family’s small plot of land to feed his family of 5. He knows that his family could flourish if he could be trained to grow profit-generating crops and given a market to sell his produce.

“There are more than 570 million farms in the world and the majority of them are run by subsistence farmers in developing countries.” – Global Agriculture Report

ILAD works with local communities to increase the income-generating capacity of local farmers through agricultural training. By providing hands-on education and training, farmers are able to fully understand and implement different techniques for increasing crop production.
