The Asia Business Development Team operates a Business Development Center in a rural area of Asia. Their clients include owners of restaurants, repair shops, convenience stores, and a multitude of other mico-businesses. In their combined decade of work in Asia, the team has seen business after business launch with fanfare then quickly close. They see many great ideas, but few solid plans. In Asia, many businesses struggle due to lack of business training, planning, or financial literacy.

The team is excited to be part of the solution, sharing business training and experience with local entrepreneurs as they work to grow their businesses based on sound business principles and ethics. They are partnering with another business with a decade of experience in Asian business, and are also working in conjunction with government initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty through entrepreneurship and microbusinesses. The business mentoring provided by the BDC allows the team to go deeper into relationships with their clients to better understand their needs and desires and to affect change across entire communities.
