Central America, comprised of 7 countries, is a mountainous and volcanic region known for its rich biodiversity and Mayan heritage. Due to a variety of factors, both natural and man-made, much of the Central American population experiences some level of poverty and lack of quality education.

Remote areas of San Francisco, Choluteca face significant challenges in providing quality education due to limited resources, infrastructure needs, and lack of educational support systems. The Honduras Educational Project addresses these fundamental needs through targeted interventions to improve school infrastructure, educational resources, and teacher support.
